Nancy Byrne Iannucci is a Long Island, New York native who now resides in upstate New York. Born of European parents, she's often drawn to the mythological traditions of her ancestral roots, which you will find intertwined in some of her poems.
Nature, music, and the study of history are what inspires her- all three are romantic, mysterious, and ethereal to eyes, ears, and mind. She has always been entranced by the mysticism of life and the fine line that exists between our world and the mystical. She feels, at times, like she inhabits some place in the middle, and expresses herself through writing trying to reconcile her own existence in between these two realms.
Her love of history and books are expressed in the library at Albany Academy. When she's not cataloging or giving library lessons, she's usually roaming the fields and creek near her home or writing poems.
